Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that you have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

2. Description of the Service

MyTradeCoach.ai is an AI-powered coaching tool focused on trading discipline and psychology. The Service uses artificial intelligence (including third-party AI models) to provide conversational coaching, track your self-reported patterns and rules, and offer reminders and reflection prompts.

MyTradeCoach is not a trading journal, broker, financial advisor, or signal provider. The Service does not log trades, track P&L, execute trades, or provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice of any kind. Nothing in the Service should be construed as a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any security, commodity, futures contract, or other financial instrument. You are solely responsible for your own trading and investment decisions.

3. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses third-party artificial intelligence models (including Anthropic's Claude and OpenAI's text-to-speech technology) to generate coaching responses, spoken audio, and other content. AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate in some circumstances. You should use your own judgment and should not rely on AI-generated content as a substitute for professional financial, medical, psychological, or legal advice.

4. Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep it up to date. You may not share your account with others or use another person's account without permission.

5. Subscription, Billing, and Trial

• The Service is offered on a subscription basis at the price displayed at checkout (currently $15.99/month).
• New subscriptions include a 7-day free trial. A valid payment method is required to begin the trial.
• If you do not cancel before the trial period ends, you will be automatically charged the subscription fee, and your subscription will continue to renew monthly until canceled.
• You may cancel at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at info@mytradecoach.ai. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; we do not provide partial refunds for unused time within a billing period, except as required by law.
• We reserve the right to change subscription pricing with reasonable advance notice. Continued use of the Service after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
• Payment processing is handled by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your full payment card details on our servers.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service, other accounts, or our systems;
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or interfere with the Service's operation;
• Use the Service to harass, abuse, or harm another person;
• Upload content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes on the rights of others;
• Use automated means to access the Service without our prior written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you submit to the Service (including messages, screenshots, and other materials). By submitting content, you grant us a limited license to use, store, and process that content solely to provide and improve the Service, including sending it to third-party AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that any screenshots or content you upload do not contain sensitive personal information about third parties (such as account numbers belonging to others) beyond what is necessary for coaching purposes.

8. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, branding, software, and content (excluding your User Content), is owned by MyTradeCoach.ai and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the Service without our prior written permission.

9. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, MYTRADECOACH.AI AND ITS OWNER(S) SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF PROFITS, TRADING LOSSES, OR DATA LOSS, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will provide notice (such as by email or in-app notification). Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
